About Zach
When the camera is put away, I’m usually with my girlfriend, Megan, our golden retriever, Winnie, and our kitten, Millie. I’m equally happy exploring somewhere new, trying a great restaurant, watching baseball, playing softball with friends, or getting way too competitive over a card or board game.
Photography started with a love for the creative side of weddings, but the people are what made me stay. I love the energy of a wedding day, getting to know the people I’m photographing, and being part of a celebration that means so much to them.
That connection matters to me because I never want to feel like someone who simply showed up with a camera. I want you to feel comfortable around me, trust me when I step in with direction, and forget about me entirely when the moment is better left alone.
What You Can Expect From Me
Great wedding photography requires knowing when to take the lead and when to get out of the way.
When you need direction, I’ll give it clearly and naturally. When the light is beautiful, I’ll know how to use it. When the timeline needs adjusting, I’ll help keep things moving. And when something real is unfolding in front of me, I’ll let it happen.
More than anything, I want you to trust that your photographs are taken care of so your attention can stay where it belongs: on each other, your families, your friends, and the celebration happening around you.
Dezeri + Johnny
"Zach and his team were very easy to work with! They helped make my wedding day run so smoothly and helped make taking photos a fun experience. I was nervous that we would not have enough time to enjoy certain parts of the wedding because we didn't do a first look; however, Zach knew exactly what he was doing and we were even ahead of schedule and had time to attend cocktail hour! Zach is very personable, outgoing, and prepared with a strong background in photography and I would highly recommend him as a photographer!"
